During a consultation, we come together to plan the funeral.
We discuss the eulogy, the order of the service and music arrangements.
There may also be special readings and poems that you may wish to include to be read by family members or friends.
This is a beautiful time to share memories, remember interests and hobbies, reminisce over funny stories and highlight important life events. This can be very emotional, so let’s choose a time when many loved ones can be present and let’s do this together.
The personalised service will be approved by you and any changes you want will be made. After the service you will receive a commemorative copy of the script as a special keep sake.

We will work with you to ensure you find the right Funeral Director for your needs.
You may already have a Funeral Director you wish to use, we will help finalise arrangements to ensure the funeral runs smoothly on the day.

We will accompany you to the Funeral Director as you visit your loved one and ensure all of the fine details are actioned in a way that leaves you feeling satisfied and supported.

To be present at one’s own funeral before the event of transition gives everyone the opportunity to say all the things they would have loved to have shared publicly whilst the person is also there to hear it. These are genuinely heartwarming occasions for all.
We create the intimate environment needed for Living funerals because they are the perfect way to come together to honour the life of a loved one, give thanks and say the most heartfelt farewell.

Attending the wake or funeral reception, we help to co-ordinate guests during the refreshment period, and those wishing to share tributes and memories of your loved one. Ensuring the voices of those who wish to share their precious memories are well received, we work with family and friends to continue the celebration of your loved ones life.
D.I.P.ism creates Living Funeral Plans
You do not have to receive a terminal diagnosis before planning your funeral. At D.I.P.ism we work with you to develop a funeral that will cover all of your wishes when that time comes, via a living document that can be updated as often as you wish.
Following a two hour telephone, face to face or online session, you will receive your living document via email or hard copy through postal services.
We are also able to offer support with programmes, flowers, musical arrangement and catering.
